There is no universal recipe. The useful blend depends on container height, crop cycle, irrigation frequency, climate and the physical test method used.

Should the coir be washed or buffered?

That decision depends on crop sensitivity, source-water chemistry and the grower’s fertigation programme. Specify both processes separately.

What information is needed for a trial?

Share the current substrate, bag or pot geometry, plants per unit, irrigation schedule, drain target, trial size and success criteria.
